Rekordergebnis im ersten Halbjahr - Weitere Wertberichtigung auf das Kolbengeschäft

Im ersten Halbjahr 2021 hat Rheinmetall einen um rund 9% auf 2.582 MioEUR gestiegenen Umsatz erwirtschaftet (H1 2020: 2.372 MioEUR). Das operative Ergebnis hat sich um 95 MioEUR auf 191 MioEUR nahezu verdoppelt (H1 2020: 96 MioEUR). Damit erzielte Rheinmetall ein operatives Rekordergebnis für ein erstes Halbjahr. Das Ergebnis je Aktie der fortgeführten Aktivitäten hat sich im ersten Halbjahr 2021 um 2,18 EUR auf 2,50 EUR erhöht (H1 2020: 0,32 EUR). Der operative Free Cash Flow aus fortgeführten Aktivitäten verbesserte sich in den ersten sechs Monaten um 342 MioEUR auf -46 MioEUR (H1 2020: -387 MioEUR).

Im Zuge des angekündigten Verkaufsprozesses für das Geschäft mit Klein- und Großkolben hat Rheinmetall eine weitere nicht zahlungswirksame Wertberichtigung für den nicht fortgeführten Bereich Kolben in Höhe von 110 MioEUR vorgenommen. Liquiditätseffekte oder Ergebnisauswirkungen bezogen auf die fortgeführten Aktivitäten des Konzerns sind mit dieser Wertberichtigung nicht verbunden. Auch die im Mai 2021 aktualisierte Jahresprognose zur Umsatz- und Rentabilitätsentwicklung für die fortgeführten Aktivitäten von Rheinmetall bleibt davon unbeeinflusst.
