                               Holding in Company


The Company has received notification that, following the subscription for
10,000,000 ordinary shares, equivalent to 5.24 per cent. of the voting issued
share capital, in the recent placing, BT Pension Scheme now holds 15,855,334
ordinary shares in the capital of the Company, equivalent to 8.30 per cent. of
the voting share capital of the Company. The shares are registered in the name
of BT Pension Scheme Trustees Limited.
