Sainsbury's Awards Optimisation Contract Extension

Trakm8 Holdings plc (AIM: TRAK), the global telematics and data insight provider today is pleased to announce that the Company has been awarded a contract extension with JS information Services Ltd ("Sainsbury's").

The original contract award was announced on 3 July 2020 as being with "a major UK food retailer". Under this contract extension the contract now extends to 31 December 2024 with an option granted to Sainsbury's to extend for one further year to 31 December 2025.

Trakm8 provides slot booking and delivery scheduling / route optimisation algorithm services via its API into Sainsbury's integrated home delivery solution (Groceries online). The combined solution has improved efficiency by over 10% and is generating increased home delivery order capacity alongside operational savings and has enabled a reduction in carbon emissions from the delivery fleet.  The solution allows for greater flexibility for Sainsbury's to innovate further in this space.  This Christmas, Sainsbury's was able to open its home delivery slots for the festive period 10 weeks before the delivery date - a first for the retailer thanks to this partnership.
