Contract award with E.ON


Trakm8 (AIM: TRAK), the designer and developer of licensed GPRS based hardware and software for the vehicle placement and security market, is pleased to announce the award of Preferred Supplier status for a significant contract with the utility group E.ON UK plc ("E.ON").


Trakm8 will supply a complete vehicle tracking solution to E.ON for initially up to 3,000 of its fleet of commercial vehicles. The contract will be for a period of five years and it is estimated that it will lead to significant revenues in the first 12 months alone. Trakm8 will be supplying hardware based on its market leading T6 hardware, including CAN ('Controller Area Network') based communications and the TRAKM8 SWIFT™ operating platform. Integration work will be undertaken to meet E.ON's specific requirements.
