Purchase of own shares

SThree plc announces that on 29 October 2008, it purchased for cancellation, 50,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 145.8196 pence per share.

The highest price paid was 146.75 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 145.00 pence per share.

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 122,788,387 ordinary shares of 1p each.
