Purchase of own shares

SThree plc announces that on 10 October 2008, it purchased for cancellation, 43,534 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 153.1648 pence per share.

The highest price paid was 156.50 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 149.25 pence per share.

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 123,623,476 ordinary shares of 1p each.
