Purchase of own shares

SThree plc announces that on 29 September 2008, it purchased for cancellation, 71,801 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 187.6844 pence per share.

The highest price paid was 194.50 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 182.00 pence per share.

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 124,047,347 ordinary shares of 1p each.
