Purchase of own shares

SThree plc announces that on 24 September 2008, it purchased for cancellation, 49,945 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 199.3525 pence per share.

The highest price paid was 200 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 197.75 pence per share.

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 124,248,422 ordinary shares of 1p each.
