Purchase of own shares

SThree plc announces that on 16 September 2008, it purchased for cancellation, 100,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 209.8894 pence per share.

The highest price paid was 211 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 208 pence per share. 

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 124,648,422 ordinary shares of 1p each.
