Purchase of own shares

SThree plc announces that on 22 August 2008, it purchased for cancellation, 90,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 200.4111 pence per share.

The highest price paid was 201 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 196.5 pence per share. 

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 126,589,422 ordinary shares of 1p each.
