SThree plc announces that on 16 July 2008 it purchased for cancellation 36,874 ordinary shares of 1 pence each, at an average price of 142.0513 pence per share.

The highest price paid was 142.75 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 141 pence per share.

For confirmation the Company's issued share capital is now 128,371,285 ordinary shares of 1 pence each.
