SThree plc announces that on 20 May 2008, it purchased for cancellation, 51,420 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 200.254 pence per share.

The highest price paid was 201 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 197.25 pence per share.

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 131,355,380 ordinary shares of 1p each.
