Directorate Change

In accordance with Listing rule 9.6.14(2), Kingfisher plc today announces that Kevin O'Byrne, an executive director of the Company, is to step down from the Board and leave the business on 15 May 2015. Mr O'Byrne will remain in his current role as CEO for B&Q UK & Ireland until this time allowing a smooth handover of his responsibilities, further details of which will be announced in due course.

Mr O'Byrne joined the Board in September 2008 as Group Finance Director where he played a key role in transforming the Group's cash position during the financial crisis. In 2012 he became Divisional CEO of the Group's interests in Turkey, China, Germany and the UK & Ireland. In 2013 he took full responsibility for running B&Q UK & Ireland.
