Director's shareholding and grant of options

The Company was notified on 29 July 2011 that, on the same day, Noah Franklin, Chief Financial Officer of the Company, acquired 225,000 ordinary shares in Elektron for an aggregate consideration of approximately £82,505, which is the equivalent of an average of 36.669 pence per share.

Following this transaction, Mr Franklin's interest in Elektron represents 0.23 per cent of the total issued share capital of the Company.

Mr Franklin was granted options over 81,000 ordinary shares in Elektron with an exercise price of 37p per share on 29 July 2011.  The options are exercisable between 29 July 2014 and 29 July 2021.
