Elektron plc ("Elektron" or the "Company") was notified on 26 October 2010 that, as at that date, Panther Securities PLC ("Panther") has a total combined interest in 11,052,376 ordinary shares in Elektron.  This holding represents approximately 10.40% of the total voting rights in the Company.
