Transaction in own shares

Arden announces that today it purchased 447,549 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 54.5 pence per Ordinary Share. These Ordinary Shares will be held in treasury.

Total Voting Rights

Following the above purchase, Arden's issued Ordinary Share capital comprises 26,767,348 Ordinary Shares, of which 2,372,768 Ordinary Shares are now held in treasury, leaving a balance of 24,394,580 Ordinary Shares with voting rights.

The above figure (24,394,580 Ordinary Shares) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of Arden under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
