Clean Energy Brazil Plc ("CEB" or "the Company")

The Company has been notified that Marcelo Junqueira, Non-Executive Director of
CEB, has acquired 1,020,000 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares")
at a price of 116p per share on 30 May 2007.

Following this acquisition, Marcelo Junqueira is interested in 1,356,000
Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 1.4 per cent. of the issued share
capital of the Company.
