                           Eleco plc (the "Company")

 
The Company has been notified that, in accordance with the provisions of 
section 198-202 of the Companies Act 1985, on 15 December 2006 Mr J H B 
Ketteley, a director of the Company, purchased 25,000 shares at a price of 
86p and 25,000 shares at a price of 87.25p, in the capital of the Company.
 
Mr Ketteley's beneficial interest in the Company has, following this 
transaction, increased by 50,000 shares, to 6,844,530 shares representing 
12.29 per cent of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
