Pursuant to the announcement made on 8 May 2006, relating to the Board changes
of the Company, which included the appointment of Mr Dimitri Goulandris as a
non-executive Director of Volex; the Company confirms there are no further
details to be disclosed under paragraphs 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules
of the UK Listing Authority.

In addition, Mr. Goulandris has confirmed that he has an interest in 12,387,610
ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company through his directorship of Cycladic
Capital Management Limited.
