           Sportech plc announces launch of LittlewoodsBingo website

Sportech plc ("Sportech" or "the Company"), owner of Littlewoods Gaming, is
pleased to announce that it is extending its offering of gaming products into
online bingo. The Company's new website, LittlewoodsBingo.com aims to tap into
the lucrative online bingo market, which is expected to grow significantly over
the next few years.

LittlewoodsBingo.com will be marketed to the Company's 600,000 regular players.
The community, jackpots and strong entertainment values of online bingo make it
a logical extension to the Littlewoods' established internet gaming portfolio,
which includes the Football Pools, Online Casino and Poker, Sports Betting
within Bet Direct and GameOn.

The bespoke bingo games available on LittlewoodsBingo.com will be provided by
the leading supplier of gaming solutions, St Minver, and managed on their UK
gaming network under St Minver's Gibraltar gaming licence.
