Update on Telco Investments

The interim results for the Company for the six month period to 30 June 2011, released on 28 September 2011, noted that the board of PME (the "Board") and the investment manager, PME Infrastructure Managers Limited ("PMEIM" or the "Investment Manager") would continue to review the progress of the Company's telecommunication investments, Dovetel (T) Limited (trading as "Sasatel") and TMP Uganda Limited (trading as "Broadband Company"), following a strategic realignment of both businesses.

The Investment Manager has been conducting a review of the progress of each of these businesses (which review is ongoing) and, on the basis of this review to date, the Board has instructed PMEIM to investigate the realisation options available to the Company in relation to these investments.  Once the Board has received the Investment Manager's recommendation on the options available and has determined a course of action, a further announcement will be made as soon as is practicable.
