Directors' and other dealings

The Company was notified today that:

-     Jonathan Keeling, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, today disposed of 200,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company (the "Ordinary Shares") at a price of 54.5 pence per Ordinary Share in order to partially cover the taxation aspects relating to the exercise of options announced on 11 April 2011.  His beneficial interest following this disposal is 1,506,881 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 6.2 per cent of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital.  In addition, Jonathan has today also transferred 65,000 Ordinary Shares into his SIPP, of which he is the sole beneficiary, at a price of 54.5 pence per Ordinary Share and this transfer does not affect his total beneficial holding.

-     Mark Ansell, Non-Executive Director of Arden, today purchased 50,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 54.5 pence per Ordinary Share.  His beneficial interest following this purchase is 50,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.2 per cent of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital.

-     John Goold, Arden's Head of Equity Sales (not a Director), today purchased 100,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 54.5 pence per Ordinary Share.  His beneficial interest following this purchase is 580,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 2.4 per cent of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital.  All of these Ordinary Shares have been purchased since John returned to work for Arden on 8 March 2011.

24,394,580 Ordinary Shares with voting rights has been used as the denominator for the calculations of the interests in the issued Ordinary Share capital of Arden.
