Elektron plc (the "Company") was notified on 13th December 2010 that Panther Securities PLC ("Panther") sold 609,999 ordinary shares in the Company during the week ended 10th December 2010. Following this disposal, Panther now has a total combined interest in 5,942,377 ordinary shares in the Company. This holding represents approximately 5.59% of the total voting rights in the Company.
