US defence contractor provides production order for military antenna

Sarantel Group PLC, (AIM: SLG, "Sarantel"), a leading manufacturer of high-performance, miniature filtering antennas for mobile and wireless devices, has received initial production orders from a major US defence contractor for the custom developed dual-frequency antenna solution.  It announced development funding for this project on 3 March 2010.   

Sarantel successfully develop a customised antenna solution to meet strict size, performance and weight requirements.  The antenna will address an existing and large market, offering higher performance and lower cost than the existing solution.

David Wither, CEO of Sarantel said:
