Elektron plc (the "Company") was notified on 16^th September 2010 that, following an acquisition of 723,262 ordinary shares in the Company on 13^th September 2010, Schweco Nominees Limited has increased its holding to 9,546,340 ordinary shares. This holding represents approximately 9.03% of the total voting rights in the Company.
