Trading Update

 

 

Innovative, international online market research agency BrainJuicer has today released the following update on trading during the first half of its 2010 financial year.  The Company's interim results will be announced on 22 September 2010.

 

The Company has made further encouraging progress during the first half of 2010 with overall revenue growth of 48%, driven primarily by our businesses in the UK and the US.  As planned, the Company has further expanded its geographical footprint, by opening offices in Brazil and China.

 

The Board expects the Company to deliver further good progress in the second half.  2010 as a whole is anticipated to be in line with expectations when we reported our 2009 results in March.  We plan to deliver strong revenue growth, while continuing to invest heavily in our strategically important 'Juicy' product development, and talent, to support our longer term ambitions to become a top 10 global market research group.  We have strengthened our management team with the appointment of Alex Batchelor as COO (formerly CMO of TomTom) and Carola Verschoor as Managing Director in Holland (formerly International Marketing Director, Coffee Innovations, Sara Lee), in addition to our newly appointed Managing Directors of BrainJuicer China and BrainJuicer Brazil, Han Zantingh (formerly head of the Asian business of Tag, an advertising production company) and Gabriel Aleixo (formerly Marketing Services Director of Philips Brazil) respectively.  Our total headcount is likely to increase from 80 at the beginning of 2010 to around 100 by the year end.

 

BrainJuicer is driven by the opportunity to reshape the research industry by translating a generation of breakthroughs in psychology, behavioural economics & social sciences into Juicy tools that better explain and predict human behaviour.  The potential of this approach is reflected in the fact we are working with 11 of the world's 20 largest buyers of market research.
