Director's Shareholding

The Company announces that on 5 March 2010, Ernie Richardson, a Non-Executive Director of Sarantel Group PLC, purchased 215,000 Ordinary Shares at 2.35p per share, representing approximately 0.07 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.

Mr Richardson was formerly a partner of MTI Partners Limited ("MTI") and, as such, had a beneficial interest in the 33,640,646 shares in the Company held by MTI representing approximately 11.6% of the issued share capital of the Company.  He retired from MTI on 31 December 2009 and therefore no longer has any direct beneficial interest in MTI's shares.
