Keywords Studios today announces that Giorgio Guastalla stepped down from his role as Non-Executive Director of the Company, and from the Board, with effect from 26 January 2022.
Giorgio has decided to step down in order to devote more time to his other business interests. He commented:
"It has been a pleasure and an honour to work all these years with a group of such talented people around the globe. I am extremely proud of the business that we have built together, from one studio in Dublin to over 70 studios in 23 countries, and I am confident that, under the Company's leadership, Keywords Studios will continue to cement and grow its position in the video games and adjacent content industries."
Keywords Studios' Chair, Ross Graham, said:
"Since founding Keywords Studios with his wife Teresa in 1998, Giorgio has helped the Group grow from a single localisation studio with a handful of people to the publicly traded Company that it is today with over 10,000 Keywordians. It is a tribute to his entrepreneurial spirit and vision that he leaves the Group in such great shape. On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank him for all he has done in creating the Keywords Studios of today."
