Appointment of CFO

Ubisense Group plc (AIM: UBI) announces the appointment of Tim Gingell as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 9 August 2016.

Tim Gingell has worked at the Company since 24 February 2015, as Interim Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary since 27 July 2015. Tim has over 25 years of commercial and financial experience across the software, wireless and telecoms industries and held leadership positions at i2 / IBM, The Cloud Networks and MFS / WorldCom having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte in London. Tim Gingell holds a beneficial interest in 40,000 ordinary shares in the Company, which represents approximately 0.1% of the Company's issued share capital.
