Purchase of own shares

SThree plc announces that on 5 November 2008, it purchased for cancellation, 46,192 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 160.6027 pence per share.

The highest price paid was 161 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 160 pence per share.

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 122,672,292 ordinary shares of 1p each.
