SThree plc announces that on 31 October 2008, it purchased for cancellation, 19,903 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 149.527 pence per share.

The highest price paid was 151.00 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 147.50 pence per share.

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 122,718,484 ordinary shares of 1p each.
