Purchase of own shares

SThree plc announces that on 20 August 2008, it purchased for cancellation, 100,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 204.125 pence per share.

The highest price paid was 206 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 202 pence per share. 

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 126,779,422 ordinary shares of 1p each. Please note that this number includes 1,000 newly issued shares by the company following an option exercise today.
