Elektron announces the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer, Adrian Girling with immediate effect. 
  
Adrian joined the Board in January 2003 and has overseen its development from a small UK loss-making group with sales of £9 million to a profitable offshore and UK manufacturer with sales approaching £40 million. 

The Board has initiated the process to search for a new Group CEO. In the meantime Keith Daley will assume the role of Executive Chairman with the heads of the recently reorganized divisions reporting to him.

Keith Daley, Chairman of Elektron said:
