On 12th June 2008 Greatland Gold plc (the "Company") received notification that Starvest plc ("Starvest") had on 12th June 2008 purchased on-market a further 2,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company. Starvest currently holds 18,000,000 ordinary shares representing 9.16% of the Company's total voting rights.
