Elektron Plc announces that Keith John Roy (aged 58) has joined the Board as a non-executive director of Elektron Plc with immediate effect. He will chair the Remuneration Committee.
Keith Roy is the retiring Chief Executive of the Photonics and Gas Technology Division at Halma plc, a highly successful FTSE250 global manufacturing company which had sales and statutory pre tax profits of £355 million and £63 million respectively in the year ending 31 March 2007. He joined Halma having been joint owner of Reten Acoustics when Halma acquired it in 1992. He is an electronic engineering graduate of both Nottingham University and Aston University. Keith Roy has wide experience in the management of companies around the world, innovation & new product development and global sales & marketing.
