Appointment and Retirement of Non-Executive Directors

Appointment of Non-Executive Director - Rich Roberts

Sportech is pleased to announce that Richard ("Rich") Roberts has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, with immediate effect.

Rich, a US resident who lives in New Jersey, has many years' experience within the multi-platform entertainment industries developing businesses in the internet portal, digital distribution, casual, mobile, social and iGaming markets.

Rich currently serves as CEO of Slingo, Inc. the gambling, mobile social games and entertainment licensing business. From 2005 to 2010, he was Vice President of Business Development and Sales at PlayFirst Inc. the social, mobile and video game company, and from 1999 to 2005, he was Vice President of Digital Distribution at Hasbro Interactive. Prior to this, Rich held positions at several organisations on both east and west coasts of the USA.

In accordance with the Listing Rules, there are no additional matters that would require disclosure under LR 9.6.13 R (1) to (6) in relation to Mr Roberts's appointment.

Retirement of Non-Executive Director - John Barnes

Sportech also announces that John Barnes, who has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company since November 2005, has decided to retire from the Board and has tendered his resignation.

On the retirement of John, Ian Penrose, Chief Executive said:

"I would like to thank John for his support and advice over the last eight years. During that time, Sportech has been transformed from a heavily indebted declining UK business, into one of the world's leading pools and tote gaming Groups.

Roger Withers, Chairman said:

"As Sportech continues to develop its business and online presence in the USA, it is important that the Board composition reflects this change. As a result, I am delighted to welcome Rich to the Sportech Board. Rich's experience and business knowledge within the mobile, social and iGaming markets,will be of considerable benefit to the Group.

For many years John served Sportech as the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director and for a few months as Interim Chairman, prior to my appointment. His contribution to the Board has been invaluable, and I thank him accordingly."
