The board of Elektron announces that it has decided to split the roles of
chairman and chief executive. Keith Daley, already a non-executive director of
the Company, has been appointed non executive Chairman and Adrian Girling
continues as CEO.


Adrian Girling CEO of Elektron said:

"Following the growth of Elektron over the past few years, and the recent
appointment of FinnCap as our Nominated Adviser and Broker, it is appropriate
that the Board is constituted in accordance with the best corporate governance
principles.



I very much look forward to continuing to work with Keith in his new role.
