                             Purchase of own shares



SThree plc announces that on 16 April 2008, it purchased for cancellation,
90,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 184.5631pence per
share.


The highest price paid was 186.00 pence per share and the lowest price paid was
183.75 pence per share.


For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 133,008,863 ordinary shares
of 1p each.
