Sarantel was today notified on 1 September 2012 that Ali Mortazavi is beneficially interested directly in 10,000,000 ordinary shares and indirectly (through a qualifying instrument) in a further 15,000,000 ordinary shares, in aggregate representing approximately 3.01 per cent of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
