Contract award with Motorola Solutions

Trakm8, the AIM-listed designer and developer of licensed GPRS based hardware and software for the vehicle placement and security market, is pleased to announce the award of a contract to supply Motorola Solutions with Trakm8 vehicle tracking units.

Trakm8 has been awarded a contract to supply over 2,300 units. Trakm8 will be supplying hardware based on the highly successful T8 platform. Trakm8 has developed specific firmware that allows for data to be transmitted over private mobile radio networks. This has allowed Trakm8 to deliver telematics solutions in areas of poor or no GSM coverage. The units will be supplied to a police force in South America and is an integral part of Motorola's communication system for the vehicles.
