                             Purchase of own shares





SThree plc announces that on 21 December 2007, it purchased for cancellation,
74,251 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 214.5088 pence per
share.


The highest price paid was 217pence per share and the lowest price paid was
211.375pence per share.


For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 136,902,912 ordinary shares
of 1p each.
