                             Purchase of own shares





SThree plc announces that on 12 December 2007, it purchased for cancellation,
100,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 214.3493pence per
share.



The highest price paid was 217.75pence per share and the lowest price paid was
211.25pence per share.



For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 137,577,163 ordinary shares
of 1p each.
