                             Purchase of own shares





SThree plc announces that on 10 December 2007, it purchased for cancellation,
100,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 209.1697pence per
share.



The highest price paid was 211.5pence per share and the lowest price paid was
207pence per share.



For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 137,877,163 ordinary shares
of 1p each.
