Sportech announces that, following admission of the Company's New Ordinary
Shares to the UKLA's Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's
market for listed securities, completion of the acquisition of the Vernons
football pools business is now unconditional.


In addition, the consolidation of every ten of the Company's ordinary shares of
5p each into one new ordinary share of 50p has become effective.
