                        Annual General Meeting Statement


At the Arden Partners Annual General Meeting, held this morning, the Chairman of
Arden, Sir David Rowe-Ham, will make the following statement:

"The Company has made a good start to the current year and trading is in line
with our expectations. We have strengthened our trading team and expect to make
further hires in other areas of the business over the next few months. As part
of our plan to attract talented high quality individuals, we are proposing to
implement a new Long Term Incentive Plan, the terms of which will be brought to
shareholders for approval in due course.

The corporate pipeline remains encouraging with an increased emphasis on fees
from secondary fundraisings and we are equally pleased to report that
institutional revenues continue to be good.

We look forward to the continued support of out staff, client and shareholders
in our goal to drive the business forward and maximise shareholder value"
