DGAP-News: FinLab AG / Key word(s): Miscellaneous / - Market launch of FinLab's portfolio company "nextmarkets" - Curated investing: The first ever e-learning platform for securities trading Cologne/Frankfurt am Main, 15.12.2015 - Today marks the launch of nextmarkets.de, the first ever e-learning platform for securities trading. It is being offered by nextmarkets GmbH, in which a majority interest is held by FinLab AG (ISIN: DE0001218063, WKN: 121806, ticker symbol: A7A.GR). Through this first of its kind platform, the German-based fintech start-up offers private investors the opportunity to take part in "curated investing", giving them access to live online coaching provided by more than a dozen professional traders. These experts, among Germany's best, will explain in real time their decisions about buying and selling shares, currencies, derivatives and commodities. As Manuel Heyden, co-founder and CEO of nextmarkets noted: "Not only did we invent the curated investing model, we also used innovative software to develop a completely new approach to intuitive learning." nextmarkets aims to revolutionise the culture of investing using its new platform, which it will roll out first in Germany, and soon thereafter in other European countries and then globally. Heyden points out that, when investing their capital on the stock exchange, many private investors especially in the beginning are totally lacking in technical know-how. Hence most of them make very costly beginners' mistakes. Now, with the help of nextmarkets and its coaches, investors can avoid these kinds of errors. Prior experience and specialised know-how is not required. The Heyden brothers are no strangers to fintech. As early as 2007 - when the term "fintech" had not even been invented - they founded, established, and internationalised AYONDO, one of the most successful social trading & following platforms. FinLab Management Board member Kai Panitzki is excited about the concept of curated investing: "This is probably the first time ever that such a revolutionary innovation in the finance-sector is invented in Germany rather than the United States." The nextmarkets platform lifts the veil from the mysteries of securities trading, thus allowing a significantly broader spectrum of the public to take advantage of the long-term opportunities offered by this form of investing. Panitzki added: "In general, Germans have shown little interest in stock market investing. nextmarkets has the potential to change that." Those interested in using the platform can now register at www.nextmarkets.de.
