FinLab AG expands its Management Board

The Supervisory Board of FinLab AG (ISIN: DE0001218063) has appointed Mr. Kai Panitzki (43) as a further member of the management board of the Company. Mr. Panitzki will take over leadership of the strategy and communication areas. Together with the board members Juan Rodriguez and Stefan Schütze, Kai Panitzki will promote the further development of FinLab AG to become one of the leading Company builders and investors in the Financial Services Technologies sector.

Further to the appointment of Kai Panitzki, the Supervisory Board extended the existing management board mandates of Stefan Schütze and Juan Rodriguez accordingly.

Stefan Schütze (42), in his function as Head of Investments, is responsible for investment selection as well as legal and compliance oversight.

Juan Rodriguez (40), in his function as Chief Financial Officer, will continue to lead the finance and controlling areas.

Axel Benkner, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of FinLab AG, explains in that connection: "After the general meeting welcomed and approved the new strategy in December 2014 with a large majority, the first investments have now been made in FinTech startups. With the addition of Kai Panitzki, we gain an experienced manager, enabling us to implement the agreed investment strategy in a more targeted manner.
