The Ministry of Finance, on behalf of the state of Norway, Oslo, Norway has
informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares
its Voting Rights on LANXESS Aktiengesellschaft, Leverkusen, Germany, have
fallen below the 3% threshold of the Voting Rights on May 14, 2013 and on
that day amounted to 2.696% (this corresponds to 2242769 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 2.696%
of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 2242769 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company.
