BlackRock, Inc., New York, NY, U.S.A. has informed us according to Article
21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on LANXESS
Aktiengesellschaft, Leverkusen, Germany, have exceeded the 10% threshold of
the Voting Rights on October 30, 2012 and on that day amounted to 10.07%
(this corresponds to 8381235 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with
sentence 2 of the WpHG, 10.07% of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to
8381235 Voting Rights) is to be attributed to the company.
