The Ministry of Finance, in the name and on behalf of the state of Norway,
Oslo, Norway has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG
that via shares its Voting Rights on LANXESS Aktiengesellschaft,
Leverkusen, Deutschland, have exceeded the 3% threshold of the Voting
Rights on June 15, 2012 and on that day amounted to 3.004% (this
corresponds to 2499638 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 3.004%
of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 2499638 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company from Norges Bank (Central Bank of Norway).
